Meet our core leadership team.

Walt Sanders
President
Walt offers more than 30 years of experience with engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance in the energy and industrial market sectors. He has multidimensional expertise in all facets of the business, including strategic planning, P&L management, and high-performing team development, and he excels at exceeding business objectives. Walt has led and been an integral leadership team member for national and international market-leading companies, including Aker Kvaerner, The Shaw Group, and Day & Zimmermann NPS.
His demonstrated operational leadership experience with analysis, problem-solving, and innovation fuels Baker Power & Process’s drive to deliver a higher caliber of solutions and service to our customers.
Walt holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. During his time of service, he held escalating roles of responsibility in civil engineering, operations/logistics, and global construction program management.
Walt and his wife, Dianna, have two grown children and reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. Walt enjoys golf, fishing, sporting events, and travel.

JJ Mauk
Vice President, Business Development & Marketing
As the vice president of business development and marketing, JJ is involved with every Baker Power & Process project from beginning to end. During his more than 25 years in the heavy industrial sector — including in the power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical sectors — JJ has built an extensive network of contacts and an array of field-proven capabilities that directly benefit BP&P’s clients.
JJ’s areas of expertise include strategic corporate leadership and vision with a focus on accountability and culture. His ability to concisely define and communicate project goals and owner expectations, combined with his capital project management experience, results in better outcomes for all parties, from our clients to our project partners.
JJ studied business management at Troy University. He and his wife, Johni, have four children and one granddaughter.

Jason Ezell
Vice President, Construction Operations
Jason brings more than 30 years of construction, operations, and management experience to the Baker Power & Process team. He has held roles that range from superintendent to construction director, with a focus on engineering, procurement, and construction in the power and oil and gas industry. Jason has managed projects across the United States as well as overseas. This extensive and varied experience has provided him with the ability to successfully tackle projects of any size and to build project teams from the best talent in the business.
Originally from the Texas Gulf Coast, Jason and his family currently reside in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in South Carolina. While he enjoys hunting and fishing, Jason’s true passion is antique car restoration.

Raymond Winklestine
Director of Health, Safety, and Environment
Ray is responsible for leading and driving Baker Power & Process’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) culture, with a focus on management systems, procedures, and compliance programs. Ray has more than 25 years of corporate HSE experience in the power generation and heavy industrial sectors. His experience in the commercial nuclear power industry includes radiation protection, ALARA, and human performance. Ray is highly skilled at collaborating across project teams, including with regulators and customers, to ensure the safest outcomes for all.
Originally from New York, Ray and his family call Uniontown, Ohio, home. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, golfing, shooting hoops, attending sporting events, and vacationing.

Angie Kettelhut
Executive Assistant/Office Manager
As the executive assistant and office manager, Angie is the primary contact and liaison between the Baker Power & Process team and our clients and vendors. She brings more than 15 years of experience in executive administration services to the company. Her ability to coordinate and manage at the highest level of the organization is an asset to Baker Power & Process co-workers and clients alike.
Outside of the office, Angie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her goldendoodle “Cooper;” reading true-crime mysteries; being outdoors; attending country music concerts; and traveling.
